My Gospel - Three Times.

Romans 2:16

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Romans 16:25

Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of

Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

2Timothy 2:8

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

The casual reader of the New Testament may not even notice the difference or what the implications are. On the surface one might condemn the audacious impertinence of Paul to say such a thing, three times he says “My Gospel”. Yet we are told,  All scripture is given by inspiration of God” and as that is true, we should acknowledge those words given by the inspired Apostle, and investigate why he made those statements. What was different to the Gospel that the twelve were preaching to that what He was preaching? I found there is an evolutionary parallel between creation and Paul’s gospel. To get rid of the creation account we have invented the evolution story, and to get rid of the Kingdom Gospel we have invented that it evolved into the gospel that Paul preached. Both errors can be proven with scripture and history. The reason that Paul by the Holy Spirit calls it “My Gospel” is very obvious once pointed out with the appropriate scriptures; for the “My Gospel” is the gospel of the grace of God which is not the gospel of the Kingdom which the Twelve Apostles were commanded to preach. The Twelve were commanded by the Lord Jesus to  teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”

They were commanded to teach nations to be saved and not individuals, the nations spoken of in Revelation 21:24 “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.” Have you seen a single nation saved in the last 1900 years?  Is there at present a truly Christian nation on earth?  The answer is no, for the time when “all the nations shall be blessed through Israel” is yet in the future, and will come into effect when the commission of Matthew 28:19,20 will be fulfilled after this dispensation comes to an end.

In contrast, the ministry[1] Paul received from the Lord Jesus, was to testify the gospel of the grace of God, and warned that if any man[2] or angel preaches any other gospel, let him be accursed. Our present ministry is found in 2Corinthians 5:18-20.

18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19  To testify, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

What ministry has been given to us?

What are we to be on behalf of Christ?

What is the word of reconciliation?

The first two questions are answered in the verses just read but the ministry of reconciliation needs to be made known, as it is not taught in the Old Testament. Here again is a truth that is only revealed by the Apostle Paul and not found anywhere else in the Bible. And again a truth, though revealed by the Apostle to the Gentiles, is not known or understood by the majority of Christians who are to teach (minister) it to those who are not reconciled to God.

THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION.

According to Romans 5:10 the believer has been reconciled to God by the death of His Son. What did he believe to be reconciled? He believed “that Christ died for his sins according to the Scriptures.” (1corinthians 15:3) To have some understanding what it means to be reconciled to God we have an Old Testament picture for comparison. The Israelite, delivered from tyranny and bondage in Egypt by the “Blood of the Passover Lamb” had no right to come into the presence of God in the “tabernacle of the wilderness.” Only “the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people” (Hebrews9:7) went into the holiest of holies on the Day of Atonement. The sacrifices on the Day of Atonement would cover the sins of Israelites and ensure that God would dwell with them for another twelve month. Mark well, barred to come into the presence of God. But now, in the Day of Grace, because of what the Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished, the believer has not only access to the throne of God, but the Lord is taking him home. To teach this truth by comparison is to realize that the unsaved man is akin to someone who is on death row waiting for execution, as you read in John 3:18 “he that believeth not is condemned already.” And this is the reality; assuming you are the governor, and give a pardon to a rapist murderer; that may prevent the criminal from being executed, at best to be set free, and return him back into society, but would you take him home? But this is exactly what the New Testament doctrine of reconciliation is teaching. God, for Christ sake forgives the believer, changes his heart, and takes him into his home.

 ♠♠♠♠♠♠♠

Paul M. Sadler in his commentary on “Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians” page 33 has this to say about the believers position:

“According to the exceeding riches of His grace, reservations have been made in the name of Christ for every member of His Body. “In whom…we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worked all things after the counsel of His own will: that we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ” (Eph. 1:11,12). Pastor Edward Drew, the prince of illustrators, has this to say about our heavenly inheritance and the glory we will have with Christ: “When a saved soul goes to heaven surpassing all the angels, archangels, and principalities and powers, and takes a place ahead of them all, I don’t doubt they wonder at it all. There is a story that came from the Civil War that illustrates what I mean. The story of a poor soldier after the Civil War, when they were not very well taken care of. He wandered about for months not knowing what to do, his clothes were worn, and he was tired and sick. But he had a letter in his pocket from a friend that had died on the battlefield. The letter was written to his friend’s father just before he died. The boy who was dying said to his pal, if he was ever in trouble to take this letter to his father.

“So when he was at the end of everything and didn’t know what to do, he went to find the father of the boy who died. He found the man, who as it turned out, was the head of a prosperous business. The man had been helping soldiers, and had come to the place where he felt it was interfering with his business. Therefore, he decided not to do it any longer. When he was told that a soldier wanted to see him, he said, ‘No!’ So the soldier sent the note to the man. He was admitted at once. The note said, ‘Dear Father: this is John, my pal. He is sitting here with me and I’m dying. He has promised to sit with me until I go. Anything you can do for him, do it for my sake.’ And he signed his name.

“That soldier was taken to the man’s home; he soon recovered and was taken into the business. He quickly learned the business, and became a real businessman. The father showed him everything, taught him everything, and then placed him with himself as one of the owners of the company. You might imagine the astonishment of the superintendent and the managers of different departments, when they saw this boy rising past them. He passed them all, until he sat with the owner of the company. “That’s what is going to happen to you and to me. We are going to take our places beyond all the angels and pass them all by. I recently read a hymn written several hundred years ago, trying to picture us all going to be with the Lord, it said: ‘Past the cities of angels,’ and I wondered if there are cities of angels. Heaven is populated. It must be, there are millions and millions of angels and they all have rulers over them. The moment a soul saved from sin, who’s washed in the blood, departs this earth he goes past all the cities of the angels, and past all created beings, until he takes a place with Christ in the heavens, above all.”

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠

Here we have the most glorious message of good news for sinners, and it is overwhelmingly rejected, obscured, and unknown. I think it is beyond comprehension how this “Gospel of the Grace of God” with the “Ministry of Reconciliation” has been suppressed since the Apostle Paul revealed it, and paid for it with his life some 2000 years in the past.

Take note!

it is the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.

These words were written years after Pentecost with the distinct intention that we should take notice of the revelation that was given to us by the Apostle Paul to the Gentiles after Israel rejected The Messiah, his Twelve Messengers and the preaching of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Pacific Black Duck

When All Israel is saved according to Romans 11:26 then the preaching of the Kingdom of Heaven will continue, and then they will be teaching all Nations through the school curriculum and the local media. For once in the history of the world Bible truth will be openly proclaimed and not suppressed. All the supposed contradictions of the Bible will be openly discussed and found not to be contradictions at all, but rather ignorant assumptions by those who deliberately want to discredit the Truth.

Acts 20:24

“That I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”

Galatians 1:8,9

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Where is the united voice for The Truth?

This is for those who assume and teach that there is only one gospel, and that Peter and the eleven were preaching the same gospel that the Apostle Paul preached to the Gentiles. If you believe that, you are in the Sailing Ship of tradition tossed with every wind of doctrine. Bible Truth is not a Sailing Ship but The Rock of Truth, neither does it say one thing and mean another. The word gospel is paper money without value, and to construe it to mean what it does not say, is plain error.

  • Paul said that there is the good news; the gospel of the uncircumcision and that Peter had the good news, the gospel of the circumcision. You may double check, it does not say to or for the circumcision. He also said that he added something to them not vice versa. Galatians 2:6-9. In Ephesians 3:1-9 Paul clearly states what was made known to him, was not made known to the sons of men before it was revealed to him. Since Paul was not even a saved man at Pentecost, I can rest assured on God’s word that Peter did not know anything about the gospel of the grace of God or the Body of Christ on the day of Pentecost.
  • If Peter preached the Gospel of the Grace of God on the day of Pentecost, and there is not one word of it in both of his sermons, he would never have uttered those words in Acts 15:11  “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.”
  • Paul says he returned to Jerusalem 14 years after his conversion Acts 21:20, and James says there were thousand of Jews which believe. Notice James does not call them Christians. If they were taught and believed what Paul preached, James would not have tried to coerce Paul into reinstating circumcision and the Law of Moses as a condition of faith in the finished work of Christ. We must not forget, Paul was send there by revelation, he was specifically instructed to go there, and teach them the gospel of the grace of God, because the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom of heaven did not have the desired effect, for all Jerusalem was not saved, and the Kingdom of Heaven was not established. It was Peter’s theme in Acts 2:30 “knowing that God had sworn with an oath to David, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne.” David’s throne is not in heaven. All those who had sold their properties in anticipation for the Kingdom of Heaven to be established, were now the poor saints of Jerusalem. In Matthew 10:6-23 The Lord Jesus told His apostles:  “go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.  Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.” Do you believe it?  Is there an explanation that the Son of Man has not yet come to Israel? Of course there is. Paul said in Romans 3:19 “Now we know.”  What do we know now that Peter and the Apostles did not know? Her are just seven for starters as you follow the text: 1.) That the law speaks to those who are under the law. 2.) That now all the world is guilty before God. 3.) That no flesh is justified by the law. 4.) “NOW” the righteousness God without the law is made known. 5.) Though there was a difference in the past between Jews and Gentiles, NOW there is no difference. Remember Peter’s words when there was a difference? It is unlawful for a Jew to keep company with Gentile; Acts 10:28 which was also the reason that they preached the gospel of the Kingdom Acts 11:19 to “none but Jews only.”  6.) Now we know that man can be justified freely without the law by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. 7.) That Christ, instead of reigning on the throne of David here on earth, He is reigning from the throne of Grace in heaven until… Rom.5:21 and Heb.1:13.
  • Does Isaiah chapter 53 teach the gospel of the grace of God? Why don’t we believe what the prophet says? Isaiah 1:1 sets the outline for the book: “The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem,” so when the prophet says “All we like sheep have gone astray” he is not referring to Gentiles; The “we and us” in the chapter are speaking of Israelites who have gone astray from the covenant relationship they had with God. The Gentiles did not go astray, for they had already been given up and were “aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenant of promise” (Eph.2:12) the very reason God did make a covenant with Abraham. “We all like sheep have gone astray,” interpreting Scripture with Scripture we should realize it is the Lord’s ministry to His Own (Israel) for He said: “I am not sent – But to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew15:24). The Messiah was exclusively the minister to the circumcision. Romans 15:8  “Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:”
  • I stress – Paul’s Epistles alone are the private mail directed to us in this age, which is crowned with his last letter to Philemon. I am trying to tell you that the crowning truth of Christ and Christian conduct is completely missed by Christians and commentators alike. The letter to Philemon tells the story of a run-away slave who by the providence of God, comes into contact with Paul in Rome. Under Paul’s ministry he is saved (crucified with Christ) and established[3]in the faith. Paul sends him back to his owner (master) Philemon, and what is not told is that which is of such importance, yet anyone reading this 1800 years ago would have plainly understood.  There was the death penalty for run-away slaves under Roman law – crucifixion in fact- because the Roman Empire was built on cheap slave labour, and so, not to have a mass exodus of slaves just running away, the law was enforced.  Even Philemon would not have been able to prevent the death sentence when his slave (Onesimus) returned – except –[4] he adopt his slave and make him his son then Roman law would no longer have any jurisdiction over him as a slave. There is no need to explain any further for that is exactly what God has done with us for the law no longer has any jurisdiction over us “we have received the adoption of sons” Galatians 4:5.

The Evil Bible.com

F.J. R. 2009-05-30

Here is a typical example how the God of the Bible is vilified, as in this case, by the Evil Bible.com Website under “Murder in the Bible.” Of course Evil Bible.com is not alone in abusing Scripture. I have heard Shabir Ally use the same arguments in favour of the Koran.

Short change of money leaves you out of pocket, but worse is short change of Scripture for it leaves you out of truth and you remain in error.

The real story of what happened with the Amorites and Israel.

Before Israel even existed as a nation God told Abraham (Genesis 15:13) that his descendents would live as slaves in Egypt for 400 years because “the iniquity of the Amorites was not bad enough.” Have you ever thought this through? God is saying that the slavery in Egypt is better for them than to live with those pagans in Canaan. You may contemplate what that means regards God’s patience with evil men and evil rulers.
What the Amorites and the Pagan nations in Canaan were doing can be easily found with a small search. Here is a short list of what the iniquity and abominations were.

q  There was Sodomy   1Kings 14:24

q  Children were burnt to death to please their gods like Baal, Chemos, and Molech. Lev. 18:21. Lev.20:2,4,5.  1Kings 11:7.  2Chronicles 28:3 “Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.”  Jeremiah 32:35  “And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.”

q  Read Leviticus 18:20 to 25 and you will find a list for Adultery, Buggery, Male and Female copulation with animals.

q  Would you call that a righteous and moral society?

q  Can you imagine how depraved and diseased they were with such a lifestyle by man and beast?

q  King Sihon without question was a warmonger just read Numbers 21:26.

q  They had 400 years to improve and another 40 years warning; for the fame of the true God went before the Israelites “we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt;” (Joshua 2:10).

And here is what really happened. We read in Numbers 21:21 that “Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites saying: Let me pass through thy land; we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king’s high way, until we be past thy borders.”  What was the response? Sihon, king of the Amorites gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel in the wilderness for a surprise attack to kill the lot.  Who attacked whom? From thereon surely it was self-defence by Israel. So please tell me how did the Evil Bible.com come to the conclusion that God just instructed the Israelites to murder the lot without any good reason? Has it ever occurred to you that those nations were beyond remedy? Were 440 years insufficient to improve the morality and ethics?

They could have made peace with Israel like the Gibeonites (Joshua 11:19), but here again it is anti-Semitism when you read Joshua 10:1-5 for the kings combine to first exterminate the peacemakers. Here are Adonizedek’s words: “Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.”  “Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.”

Now that Gibeon was on the Lord’s side (in league with Israel) they also were open season for the warmongers. Was it a crime to defend themselves ?

I think it is very significant that there were seven enemy nations to Israel in the days of Joshua 3500 years ago, and that at the very present as we expect the greater Y’shua to come, we again have Israel beleaguered by SEVEN enemy nations: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and Iraq all hostile

And all have repeatedly attacked Israel without cause.

(Israel Wars 1948-1949; 1956; 1967; 1973-74; 1982 Yom Kippur; Lebanon; Gaza.)

Numbers 23:9 “the people (Israel) shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.”

There are 192 Member Nations in the United Nation and each can take their turn on the United Nations Security Council bar Israel.

Why – because God has decreed that -

They shall not be reckoned among the nations – God’s word is as true today as it was 3500 years ago.

Post Script:

1948 Arab–Israeli War - Wikipedia

The British Mandate over Palestine was due to expire on 15 May, but Jewish Leadership led by Ben-Gurion declared independence on 14 May. The State of Israel declared itself as an independent nation, and was quickly recognized by the United States, Iran, the Soviet Union, and many other countries.

Five of the seven countries of the Arab League at that time, namely Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, backed with Saudi Arabian and Yemenite contingents invaded the territory of the former British Mandate of Palestine on the night of 14–15 May 1948.

Over the next few days, approximately 1,000 Lebanese, 5,000 Syrian, 5,000 Iraqi, and 10,000 Egyptian troops invaded the newly-established state. Four thousand Jordanian troops invaded the Corpus separatum region encompassing Jerusalem and its environs, as well as areas designated as part of the Arab state by the UN partition plan. They were aided by corps of volunteers from Saudi Arabia, Libya and Yemen.

In an official cablegram from the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States to the UN Secretary-General on 15 May 1948, the Arab states publicly proclaimed their aim of creating a "United State of Palestine" in place of the Jewish and Arab, two-state, UN Plan. They claimed the latter was invalid, as it was opposed by Palestine's Arab majority, and maintained that the absence of legal authority made it necessary to intervene to protect Arab lives and property.

Arabian Quotes

1948: Arab League Secretary-General Azzam Pasha exulted: “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades.”

1954: Saudi Arabian King Saud ibn Abdul Aziz: “The Arab nations should sacrifice up to 10 million of their 50 million people, if necessary, to wipe out Israel. … Israel to the Arab world is like a cancer to the human body, and the only way of remedy is to uproot it, just like a cancer.”

1967: Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser: “Our basic objective will be the destruction of Israel.” (May 27, 1967, nine days before the start of the Six-Day War)

1973: Libyan President Mohammar Qadaffi: “The battle with Israel must be such that, after it, Israel will cease to exist.” (al-Usbu al-Arrabi, Beirut. Quoted by Algiers Radio, Nov. 12, 1973.

1977: "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism." -- PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein, 1977

1980: PLO representative in Saudi Arabia Rafiq Najshah: “There has been no change whatsoever in the fundamental strategy of the PLO, which is based on the total liberation of Palestine and the destruction of the occupying country.... On no accounts will the Palestinians accept part of Palestine and call it the Palestinian state, while forfeiting the remaining areas which are called the State of Israel.”

1996: Palestinian Chairman Yasser Arafat: “[Our aim is] to eliminate the State of Israel and establish a purely Palestinian one.” (In a closed meeting with Arab diplomats in Europe, quoted in the Middle East Digest, March 7, 1996) 1996: PLO spokesperson Bassam abu-Sharif: “The struggle against the Zionist enemy is not a matter of borders but relates to the mere existence of the Zionist entity.” (In an interview with the Kuwait News Agency, May 31, 1996)

2001: PA Minister for Jerusalem Affairs, Faisal al-Husseini: “The strategic goal is the liberation of Palestine from the Jordanian [sic] River to the Mediterranean Sea, even if this means that the conflict will last for another thousand years or for many generations.” (In an interview with the Egyptian paper al-Arabi, June 24, 2001)

2003: Dr. Abdel Aziz Rantisi, the key leader of Hamas: “By God, we will not leave one Jew in Palestine. We will fight them with all the strength we have. This is our land, not the Jews’.” (In a telephone interview with Al Jazeera television. Reported in the Jerusalem Times, June 10, 2003)

2007: Hamas’ statement in response to criticism by Al-Qaeda's Ayman al-Zawahri, March 12, 2007: “We will not betray promises we made to God to continue the path of Jihad and resistance until the liberation of Palestine, all of Palestine …”

2009: Egyptian Cleric Muhammad Hussein Ya'qoub: “The Jews are the enemies of Muslims regardless of the occupation of Palestine; you must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the earth”

2600 years ago the prophet Zechariah 12:2 revealed that God knows the future and wrote - Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the nations of the earth be gathered together against it.

“Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled and incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world. But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world….  Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless.  Islam says, kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all!  ...Whatever good there is, exists thanks to the sword, and in the shadow of the sword!  People cannot be made obedient, except with the sword!  The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for Holy Warriors!  ...Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war?  I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”—Ayatollah Khomeini (1902-1989) Iran’s Supreme Leader from 1979 to 1989—the highest ranking political and religious authority of the nation.
